The Rundown: A celebration of the Dark Knight Detective and his world.

Lost and Found

Batman enlists the help of Ace to track down the missing dog of a hearing impaired young boy whose life he saved. A journey that will bring him face to face with a dangerous underworld faction.

A fun, sweet and entertaining story that showcases that a story can be dynamic and emotional even without words. Janin’s art is fantastic throughout the story.

Your Role in the Community

Bruce Wayne attends an event celebrating the heroes of Gotham City. As he finds himself sitting with a small group of reporters, he is grilled about his presence in the community and how his money isn’t enough to help. None of them realize he almost didn’t make it because he was in a nearly deadly chase with the Joker hours before.

An entertaining and pointed story that showcases the difficulty of living the perceived persona of Bruce Wayne. The art is beautifully detailed.

The Knife and Gun Club

A doctor in the emergency room is frustrated at the amount of injuries she’s having to treat after a run in with the Batman. When she goes to the break room, she speaks to a veteran of the night shift who tells her what things used to be like before he arrived.

A dark, engaging and compelling story that has some great lessons and moments for the character. I love Martinez Bueno’s visual style and how it perfectly captures the tone and mood of the story.

The Fall

Batman finds himself in freefall as he dives into the night to stop a man determined to end his life.

A brilliantly focused and entertaining story from Watters with breathtaking imagery from Sienkiewicz.
